Kyra’s diverse interests and willingness to embrace new challenges are reflected in her active participation across both academic and creative platforms.
In 2025, she was selected to represent her school at the National-Level Design Competition, where she led her team in developing a project to address real-world challenges, demonstrating creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving on a competitive platform across a period of few months.
She was also chosen to represent her school in the Singapore Youth Festival Art Exhibition (2025), an honour that recognizes both her artistic ability and creative expression.
Beyond school, Kyra has built a strong foundation in mental discipline and numerical agility. From 2008, she trained at CMA (Centre for Mental Arithmetic) where she started at Grade 13, and achieved Grade 1 in Mental Arithmetic and Grade 5 in Abacus Arithmetic in 2013, reflecting her early commitment to focus, precision, and cognitive development. Kyra has has a keen interest in coding and has attended various coding workshops, and also the Coding Olympics in both 2025 & 2024. Kyra also plays the piano and ukulele.
In 2026, she was also one of the selected few to be awarded an Outstanding Progress Award by The Learning Lab.
Together, these experiences highlight Kyra’s versatility, a student who not only excels academically, but actively seeks opportunities to grow, lead, and express herself across multiple domains.
